Admissions

The School of Culinary Arts enrolls high school graduates or individuals with the recognized equivalent of a high school diploma (GED). In addition, a general skills competency test is administered. All individuals who meet all of the admissions requirements will be considered without discrimination based on race, religion, physical handicap, socio-economic status, gender or age. An application form can be found at the bottom of this page.


Licensure

The School of Culinary Arts and Yorktowne Business Institute are licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools, Pennsylvania Department of Education.


Accreditation

Yorktowne Business Institute is accredited as a Business School by The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, (ACICS), Washington, DC. ACICS is a recognized member of CHEA, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, along with Middle States and other regional accrediting bodies.


Approvals

Yorktowne Business Institute is approved by the Secretary of Education, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to award the Associate in Specialized Business degree and the Associate in Specialized Technology degree.
